If you are staying in a Santa Monica vacation rental and want to see an incredible display of art, then take a trip to the Annenburg Community Beach House. Located at?415 Pacific Coast Highway, this mansion was built in 1920 and sits on five acres of oceanfront property. It’s a gorgeous mansion that was originally constructed by William Randolph Hearst for actress Marion Davies. Today, it is open to the public and is home to gorgeous views, a children’s play area, incredible pool and art gallery and regularly hosts a variety of exhibits.
And, until February 8, the?the Annenburg Community Beach House will feature an exhibition entitled “Caesura.” The curator, Maya Lujan, has put together a spectacular display of art from artists including Melinda Smith Altshuler, Aleve Mei Loh, Om Navon Bleicher, Los Angeles local Silver Simons and Santa Monica resident Julia Schwartz. This gallery is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission is free. If you are driving to the Annenburg house, parking will cost you $4.
