Are you looking for the perfect place to combine your love of wine, beer and chocolate – or all three? Then look no further than the SummerTASTE Wine Tasting Series in Santa Monica, California. Since May 9, a couple hundred wine connoisseurs and novice drinkers have gathered every second Wednesday of the month to partake in tastings.
In the past, Santa Monica residents and visitors congregated at Sonoma Wine Garden located at 395 Santa Monica Place to sample various wines and learn about what makes each vino unique. Each Wednesday has a theme some of which have included “Roses are Red – Cabernets are Blue!,” “Dry Creek Vintners of Sonoma County” and “Que Syrah Shiraz – A night for Rhones.”
What will ticket holders be congregating for tonight? “CHOCTOBERFEST – Wine, Beer and Chocolate!,” of course. For $60 you can enjoy delicious wine from 10 wineries across the state, as well as brew and chocolate. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about how to pair them, eat delicious food and listen to good music courtesy of “DJ Wig.”
The good news is that the money you spend will not only gain you entrance into this fun event, it will also benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation which is a non-profit that raises money for medical research in order to find a cure for leukemia, cancer and AIDS.
