L.A. County Fair is the perfect event for adults and kids alike

In October of 1922, the first L.A. County Fair took place and since has been an annual event that residents and tourists have flocked to. If you are someone who enjoys great outdoor entertainment and scrumptious food, then this is one carnival that should not be missed.

Until Sunday, September 30, fun-loving enthusiasts will have the opportunity to come to the grounds, which are located at 1101 West McKinley Ave., and watch various concerts ranging from Carly Rae Jepsen to the B-52’s.

Children will have a blast at the Kid’s Zone section which include the Garden Railroad, the largest miniature railroad in the United States, and the Living Library of Fun, which is home to books that are as much as eight feet tall.

Of course, as you visit each attraction the fair has to offer, you’ll want to make sure that you don’t miss out on the food. Whether you prefer ribs, frozen lemonade or a fried chicken sandwich, you’ll be sure to leave the grounds satisfied.

If you’re looking for something a bit more formal, you can make a reservation at the Top of the Park restaurant. As you watch the horses race around the track, you’ll dine on lobster, steak and a variety of other courses that are equally delicious and sophisticated.

After a day at the fair, return to a beautiful Los Angeles vacation rental. Hotels are often cramped and don’t offer the same amenities that a rental house does. For a more spacious luxurious option, return to a fully furnished property managed by Signature Vacation Homes. Whether you prefer a two or five bedroom, an experienced representative from GoSVH will help you find the residence of your dreams so your time in L.A. is unforgettable.
